Stuart Bennett is the author of Trade Bookbinding in the British Isles 1660-1800. Co-published by Oak Knoll Press and the British Library in 2004, it has received favorable reviews in the Times Literary Supplement and elsewhere. One American reviewer called it "a tool for the discerning book connoisseur [which] fills a long-standing gap in the bookbinding literature that, in retrospect, is as self-evident as a missing front tooth." Copies are available from the author and from the publishers. Please contact us for further information. |
